Inside the mitt is an extra sponge layer. It gives the mitt a cushioned feel and helps you apply even pressure on flat and curved panels. You clean thoroughly without pressing too hard or losing contact with the surface.

The microfiber is made from 3 types of fiber, not one. Together they absorb more water and shampoo per dip and build a thick layer of suds that sits between the mitt and the paint. Dirt is drawn into the fiber rather than sitting at the surface where it can drag across the paint.
